I am an illustrator, visual arts educator, avid ocean and marine wildlife enthusiast, and plant lover. My husband Robert and I, along with our speckle-faced, darling dog, Blue, live in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. It is truly the gateway to all sorts of natural splendour and incredible abundance here in the pacific northwest.
From a young age, I enjoyed drawing, painting, creating little treasures, and exploring different craft. As a child, I was always captivated by plants and animals, big and small, wanting to befriend them all. I have found that immersing myself in nature really drives my creativity. In my art practice, I often explore themes regarding different relationships that you might see in nature.
Over the years, I have found magic in cultivating a slower paced life, digging into the rhythm of the seasons, work with my hands, and creating things slowly with more love and intention.
